Belle Isle Labradors

Our story

Belle Isle Labradors is located in Northeast Connecticut.

We have been very fortunate to be in the company of Labrador Retrievers since 1984 but our story really starts in 2007 with our first show dog Jack. He is the dog who started this journey for us.

We have Labradors that have AKC Championships, Obedience Titles and some that are working towards Agility, Hunting Titles and most importantly are great family dogs. Our Dogs live with us and are out an about with us shopping the Farmers Market, Visiting family and friends and even popping in at the Nursing Home to visit Nana and Friends. Our goal is to produce Beautiful, Sound, and Healthy Labradors with great temperaments that will be great companions or  be competitive in the field or show ring. 

We breed only one or two litters of puppies each year. The reason we breed is because we love and want to improve the next generation of the Breed. Every breeding is done with the simple goal of improving our line of Labradors. Out of every litter we will keep a puppy or two for our future generations. Our puppies are raised in our home and are provided with a great deal of handling and socialization. The remaining puppies are sold to approved homes with AKC Limited Registration and spay/neuter agreements to promote responsible ownership and protect the future of the breed.
